Network Admin
Akkodis is seeking a Network Administrator for a contract role with our client in Marcus Hook, PA.
In this role you will play a critical role in safeguarding their critical systems and data.
Hourly rate range:
$60-$85 per hour based upon experience.
This is a hybrid role requiring three days onsite, with a potential to move fully onsite in the future so we are seeking local candidates.
Open to C2C candidates.

As a Network Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
o Providing in-depth, high-level support of network infrastructure and services.
o Documenting network architecture, concept designs, network change implementation plans, and risk assessments.
o Setting up and configuring remote access solutions such as Cisco AnyConnect and site-to-site VPNs.
o Assisting with design, operating, and configuring Cisco hardware including Cisco Nexus, Cisco ASA firewalls, and Cisco FirePower.
o Maintaining and adding new firewalls/routers on private networks between various locations.
o Updating and configuring VMware ESX environment.
o Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting problem areas as needed.
o Monitoring web security gateways, perimeter security, network access controls, endpoint security.
o Monitoring and implementing IDS/IPS systems and policies.
o Identifying and communicating gaps, weaknesses, and new capabilities in the vulnerability management program.
Network Administrator Required Skills:
o 5
years of experience with Cisco network administration supporting Cisco Switches, Routers, Firewalls, and layer 2 and 3 Aps, IP routing protocols, IOS backup and recovery.
o Experience with Cisco FirePower o Experience implementing and configuring Cisco Routers and Switches o Experience supporting VPNs.
o Experience with Cisco WLC o Experience with Unified Communications o Experience in a smaller company environmentDesired skills:
o Cisco FirePower and ASA legacy configurations o CCIE preferred.
o Data Center Platforms:
Nexus 9K and Nexus Family a plus.
o Virtualization exposure:
VMWare ESX preferred.
o Prior Scripting, Python, and/or Linux experience highly desired.
